a sHouT oUt tO soMe oF my FavOriTe mEn!

In honors of Fathers day this month I wanted to do a post about my favorite men in my life. I just love my Grandpa so much!!! He has always been one of my most favorite men. Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to be like Grandpa! Whenever my grandparents were at our house he would wake up and watch cartoons with us. He always makes us laugh. ("Grandpa how many fish are in the sea?" "ALL OF THEM!") He has taught us some good lessons with just a hand motion. "FOUR FEET ON THE FLOOR GIRLS!" He has the biggest heart! He has an amazing work ethic. And despite all his challenges he never once has complained! I hope to be more like him everyday! I LOVE YOU G-PA!

My wonderful father-in-law! I am so lucky to have amazing in-laws! I always feel so blessed and lucky that I have great in-laws. Since Gary and I started dating they have always made me feel welcome to the family. The thing that I always tell everyone is that my father-in-law is so protective of me and I think it is so cute! He always makes sure that I am happy and that Gary is taking care of me. Whenever Gary talks about his big plans and dreams my father-in-law always says "Well have you asked Jenessa?" "What does Jenessa think about that?" I just love how concerned he is with me. He is a great man. I am so grateful for the things he has taught Gary. He has such an amazing testimony! He really is just the perfect father-in-law. I LOVE YOU GARY! (that's his name as well)
My dad! Lately I get really emotional when I talk about my dad! He is one of the most amazing men I have ever met. He has such a pure love of Christ and serves the Lord so delligently! He is such a people person and loves to help people in any way possible. He has had some great challenges in his life and never once has he spoken badly about others or complained about the difficulties. He truly trusts in the Lord in all things. On top of working full time, being the bishop, being on the planning commission for his city and being a dad/grandpa he recently has decided to take on just a little bit more. He is now going to school to receive his masters. I cannot even begin to tell you how proud I am of my dad and how amazed I am by him. I could never function if I was trying to do that much at once. I just LOVE my dad beyond words and feel so blessed to have such an amazing example in my life! I LOVE YOU DAD!!!
And last but not least, my darling eternal companion! Gary is the greatest husband ever! I just cannot believe how lucky I am to have such an amazing husband. I always tell him you may not be a perfect husband, but you are the Perfect husband for me! He really is! He just loves me so much and I never doubt how he feels about me. Along with his dad my Gary is so protective of me. Sometimes I have to remind him I am a big girl. I know that to use pepper spray you turn the nozzle, point it in the eyes and spray. Ha ha he bought me some and gave me a 10 min. tutorial. He kept say "Jenessa, if you ever need to use it you just turn this nozzle, point in the eyes and spray." "Jenessa, make sure you point it right in the eyes. Then you run!" He definitely got the protectiveness from his dad, but at least I know he is worried and concerned about me. He truly would do anything for me. Even when I tell him at 10:30 at night I'm still hungry. He'll either make me something or make a craving run for me. He is so sweet! He has an abosutely amazing testimony! He loves learning and reading. He always has a stack of about 5-6 books on his night stand that he is reading. (yes, all at once) He never ceases to amaze me. He has such a desire to do good it's hard to not feel the same thing when you are around him! Even though he isn't a daddy yet I KNOW he will be an amazing father. Our kids are going to LOVE their dad. I could go on and on about my husband, but this would have to become a novel. Babe, you are my perfect husband and I LOVE YOU MORE THEN I COULD EVER SAY!!!
