So Saturday night we went ice skating at the Olympic rink thanks to Jessica. She got passes for being a good students and was sweet enough to invite us to join. It was so fun! Gary was a little hesitant at first because it's been so long since he has tried it and he only has tried it once before. But once he got out there and had the right size ice skates he did fabulous!
This is one of my best tricks!
The whole time we were driving there Gary just kept saying "Blades of Glory. H ha he was skating nicely and getting some confidences when all of a sudden he hit a groove in the ice that a previous skater had made that sent him going in a completely direction then he planned and he thought he was going down for sure. Which was so funny! Little did I know that this was not a planned route I thought he was just starting to feel confident enough to try some tricks. So I was like "Wow! babe your tryin tricks!" And he was like NO!! with shock in his eyes. The rest of the night he kept saying "This ice is getting too groovy!" It was so funny!
Jase and Megan really are super talented at skating and I think they should do pairs for the next olympics! My mom also was doing pretty awesome! She had a fabulous trick that I scored a 10! It was such a fun night so Jes thanks for inviting us we had a blast!
